Layout in Ms Paint
First pick a picture that is decent sized. I am going to use this one:
Now click on this tool . Select a portion of the bottom of your picture and
drag down using the big blue dot at the center bottom.
When you you get the picture strecth to look perfect, clip off part of the bottom so the layout does not go off the screen.
You should have a little square blog layout now. You can add borders and text if you wish. Here is my finsihed product:
